Tower on Cirella Island |

The tower has a square plan and was originally constituted by two bays. It is located in Cirella Island, in front of Diamante's harbour. It was built by the viceroy of Naples in the 16th century and destroyed in 1808 by the English Royal Navy during the Napoleonic wars.

The Diamante coast is characterized by several inlets and promontories. Diamante is also famous for its luxury beaches and is an important sea resort.

The city centre is painted with graffiti and some of them communicate social and political messages. They are alleged to be very typical here in Diamante. The overall amount of graffiti in town is about 160.
