| Sea Castle |

This little fortress is the town symbol. It dates back to the sixteenth century. After recent works, the castle is utilized for temporary and permanent exhibitions. It is located in front of the seashore and is linked to the mainland through a pier.

| Fontana del Polipo (Octopus fountain) |

The fountain shown in the picture is constituted by a huge basin and a bronze sculpture representing an octopus.

| Town Hall |

The town hall is the former military hospital. It is a little cute building featuring a sort of loggia at the entrance and at the piano nobile. On the sides are two other important frescoed houses. The palazzo on the right is decorated with a very typical Genoan stripe pattern, while the one on the left is painted with a tromp l'oeil motif representing a rusticated basement and broken pediments at the upper floors.
