Geography |
Liguria borders France to the west, Piedmont to the north, and Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany to the east. It is constituted by a small strip of coastal line lying on the Tyrrhenian Sea whose inland is completely covered by Ligurian Alps, to the west, and Tuscan Apennines to the east. The highest peak is Marguarèis, 2,651 m. Liguria is the third-smallest region of Italy. |
