Cape Caccia |

Cape Caccia is an overhanging rock, located very close to Alghero. Its name refers to the pigeon hunt (caccia). It is a dream scenario, especially at the sunset.

The bastions are terraces running along the coast that used to be part of the defensive city walls that protected the city from outer pirate attacks.The bastions surrounded the entire city coast and have now become a popular promenade stretching along the picturesque Alghero Bay.

The Alghero harbour is embodied in the ancient city bastions. Panoramic coast boat trips starts here. The most renowned trip is undoubtedly the one to the Neptune Grotto, a noted sea cave and a popular tourist attraction. In the background you can see the city centre.
