This Late Renaissance masterpiece is the most notable building in town. A side staircase leads to the main floor's three arched portico, supporting a terrace. Lights are decorated with entablatures. Interiors feature eye-catching Baroque painted wood coffering and doors.

| Mother Church |

The Mother Church is dedicated to the Virgin of the Purification, is located in Plebiscito Square and dates back to the 16th century. The remarkable facade features an interesting segmental open tympanum on the top, with two side openings, and three lights above the portal: a rose window flanked by two other rectangular lights. The patron Virgin is depicted in the portal's lunette.

| Arch of the Virgin Mary |

In Candela are spread several devotional arches like the one shown in the picture. The Arco della Madonna is dedicated to the Virgin Mary, painted in the aedicule (niche set in the archivolt) placed over the apex of the arch.
