St. Mark Evangelist is the Rionero's Mother Church. Its massive facade features several niches and stucco pilasters and is crowned by a huge tympanum. The bays are opened by three gates. The nave's doorway and the two aisles'ones.
Monticchio lakes

It is a view of Monticchio lakes, sorrounded in an enchanted landscape, lying in the foothills of Apennines. The lakes are of volcanic origins and are separated by a thin inlet, even if yet connected by an underwater channel. On the background is St. Michael Abbey: it was founded by Benedictines in the 10th century and is an important pilgrimage place.
