The impressive and massive palace is decorated with a mesh of elaborate patterns including circular and triangular tympanums topping first floor's windows. The windows are orderly disposed on horizontal parallel levels according to classical tastes. The building lodges the Benedictine nuns Monastery.

Loreto Abbot Palace |

The elegant Loreto Abbot Palace, so called because it was built where laurel grows (loreto), it used to be the winter residence of Montevergine Abbot. Restructured after an earthquake, the building features baroque decorations and houses beautiful flaming tapestries and several ancient documents of great historic interest.
