St. Michael is one of the most important religious buildings in town. It has a single nave, a huge apse, fancy stained lights of different shapes and a campanile 24 mt high.

Town hall picture. Volla has become an autonomous commune in 1953 when seceded from San Sebastiano al Vesuvio.

| Castle's ruins |

In the picture are shown the ruins of the old Ducal Palace, just outside Volla. It was properly a country house enforced with battlements provided with embrasures. Above the once porticulised main entrance is a remarkable three arch loggia.
