St. Mary d'Ajello church |

Santa Maria D'Ajello was built in 1131 and rebuilt several times over centuries. It features two entrance doors and a remarkable tufa octagonal campanile topped with a massive cusp.

Piazza Municipio is named after the Town Hall, which is constituted by three blocks, with the two wings recessed. The town hall features an impressive arched entrance with a bronze gate and a little clock tower. In the middle of the piazza you can see a remarkable drinking fountain.

The church was built in 1841 in neo classic style. The church stands on an impressive staircase, being preceded by a grand portico ending with two Doric columns holding a classic pediment. Noteworthy are the medallions carved with a daisy chains decoration put on the entrance door.
