Cathedral |

The Piacenza Cathedral is a fine example of Romanesque art, with some Gothic influences. The facade is spanned by two giant pillars and has three archivolted portals. The church is horizontally parted by galleries surmounting the portals and running above the roof's lintels.

Bishop's Palace |

The Bishop's Palace is a Neoclassical building located on the right of the Cathedral. It features two finely sculpted atlantes supporting the central portal and a banded rusticated decoration covering the first storey.

Garibaldi Memorial |
|
The Piacenza Garibaldi Memorial was realized by Enrico Astorri, at the end of the 19th century. The monument represents Garibaldi with his arms folded, staring at the horizon, on the top of a spur.
