Acaia Castle |

The massive castle was built by the Acaias in the 14th century and was turned into a stately home by the Savoias in the 18th century. It has a square plan and four squared 45 degrees rotated towers located at each angle. The inner cylindrical towers of the courtyard were added later during the 19th century's restoration.

The Trinity church, also called of the "red beaten ones", that is to say the cilice bearers of the Red congregation, has an outstanding concave facade featuring an oculus decorated with volutes in the central bay and concentric coffering in the side bays.

Cathedral |

The cathedral of Fossano, built in the 18th century by Mario Ludovico Quattrini and dedicated to the Saints Mary and Jovenal is reminiscent of a classic temple. The facade features two couples of entasised columns finished in Corinthian style of gigantic order standing on huge stereobates and supporting the massive eye-catching front.
