Piazza Martiri della Libertà and Coccia Theatre |

Piazza Martiri della Libertà is a huge explanade dedicated to the partisans which fought the Fascist regime (called martyrs of liberty). Three sides are completely surrounded by loggias. In the centre is located an equestrian monument of King Victor Emmanuel in front of which is the Coccia theater, built in the 1888.

The Cathedral is a Neoclassical masterpiece by Alessandro Antonelli. It features an elegant pattern of superimposing tympana, the first being the one of the narthex, the latter being the covering of the nave.

St. Gaudentius' dome |

St. Gaudentius' dome is an eyes-catching work of Alessandro Antonelli built in 1888. It features different superimposing drums decorated with rectangular lights, colonnades and loggias holding a tapered dome. It is 121 mt high and is topped by a copper statue representing Jesus Christ.
