In People's Square is Montevergine Church, next to the Civic Clock Tower. The church is a remarkable Baroque masterpiece. It features a Churrigueresque decorated portal, involving florid ornamentation, different kinds of broken pediments, undulated cornices, stucco shells and garlands.

The Paola's Memorial represents a female figure handing a wreath to a dying soldier, crawling on the base of the monument.

| Saint Francis of Paola Church and Convent |

The Sanctuary dedicated to Saint Francis of Paola is next to the convent, on the top of a spur overlooking the Isca Valley. The church's facade features a three arched porch and two windows on the side of the first storey's central balcony. The church is topped with a niche housing a St. Francis' statue.
