It is the most important religious building in town and is dedicated to the patron Saint. The Mother Church is located at the end of a huge staircase surrounded by a marble remarkable balustrade. The facade was finished in the eighteenth century. It features pilasters dividing each bay and an elegant main portal with a semicircular pediment and an oculus in the upper storey. The massive campanile is divided into three storeys featuring a single arch bell cell, a clockdial and a tall spire.
