In the picture you can see a Majolica placed in Matteotti's Square, the main town's square. In the majolica is written: "Vietri is a town of ancient tradition for the craftsmanship of ceramics". Actually Vietri is an important ceramic manufacturer town since the 15th century. The Majolica also brings the Unesco's logo, who declared Vietri as Human Heritage.

St. John the Baptist Church is dedicated to the Patron Saint and it is the most important and famous Vietri's monument. Situated on the highest point of the historical centre, it dates back to the 10th century; the church was restored several times and the inscription, put on the façade, remembers the last one.
