The church of Our Lady
Foto Scafati: The church of Our Lady
The church of Our Lady is the most important religious building in Scafati. Built in the 17th century, the church had been completely rebuilt two centuries later. The campanile has not been subdued to any alterations. It is characterized by a rusticated basement and a rustication along the angles. A clock dial had been set in the structure. It is also crowned by a corbelled lintel.
Town hall

This massive palazzo was the house of Giovanni Giacomo Meyer and was subsequently bought by the Commune and turned into the present town hall. It is flanked by river Sarno. It features an architectural pattern of different alternating pediments and balconies. Remarkable is the stuccoed band rusticated basement.
Civic gardens

The civic gardens were built by a Swiss entrepreneur who turned an orange garden into a public park and gave it to the citizens.
