The Durum Custom has two side wings and a central projecting bay where is the main entrance constituted by a massive serlian decorated with a coat of arms in axis with the key stone and topped with a Rocaille tympanum.

Saint Mary of Purity National Music Academy |

The building is a former monastery and today hosts the National music academy. Noteworthy is the huge courtyard extending beyond the entrance shown in the picture.

The present facade dates back to the 19th century and has two storeys, three bays and four lintels surmounted by cushion capitals at the first floor and ionic capitals at the second storey. On the right is the campanile, built in the same style.
