Town hall and War Memorial
Foto Sant'Agnello: Town hall and War Memorial
Situated in Matteotti Square, the Town hall was originally used as a school (part of it has the same use still today). In close up there is Giovanni Nicolini's War Memorial representing an infantryman that lies down grasping his sword and his shield. The square has been created at the beginning of the twentieth century after the filling of a deep valley that extended from the Pecoriello Gulf to the current city centre.
Sts. Prisco and Agnello's Parish Church

The Church, preceded by a staircase, was consecrated in 1827 and titled to the very pure heart of Mary and to the Saints Prisco and Agnello. Previously in that place there was a Chapel dedicated to St. Prisco (Bishop of Nocera). In the church there is a Gustavo Mancinelli's painting that represents a Madonna embracing Jesus and with the Saints Prisco and Agnello in veneration. The church was built with the contribution of the believers, who for that reason still today have the privilege of electing directly their Parish priest.

In St. Agnello square you can see the homonymous church. To the left side is Italia Street, also called the "Sorrentina" which leads directly to Sorrento, Meta di Sorrento and Piano di Sorrento..
