The town park of Casalnuovo is part of a programme of restorations that has involved several city sights. In the background you can see the modern town hall.
St. James the Greater Parish
It is the most important church of Casalnuovo. The parish is located in the main street and is dedicated to the town's patron saint: St James. The recently enlarged and rebuilt facade is very sober and features two smart pillars framing the main portal. Noteworthy is the campanile featuring a slightly curvated body.
St. Mary of Arcora Church
The parish, colloquially known as Putechella, was originally part of the Afragola Commune, and then included in the Casalnuovo township. It is a neo-classical church and features an impressive portico, framed by corinthian pillars holding a massive tympanum. The same corinthian style decor is carved in the upper part of the building.
