Virgin Mary's Assumption Cathedral |

The Cathedral is dedicated to the Virgin Mary of the Assumption and dates back to the 15th century and over years has undergone numerous alterations. Probably the church was built on the site of an already existing roman temple, dedicated to Hercules. The church has a remarkable eight ionic pillars portico and a massive campanile flanking the transept.
