The local government has been recently committed in renewing the appearance of the town by building new modern churches and structures like St. Cosma and Damien built in honor of the town's patron saints.

St. Vincent Martyr's church, situated in a very impressive position and surrounded by green. It was the liveliest religious meeting point of the historical part of the town, but after various earthquakes that struck the area, it was completely abandoned.
