Minor Basilica of Corpus Domini |
|
The Minor Basilica of Corpus Domini is in Piazza De Silvo. It features an eye-catching tripartite facade surmounted by a segmental pediment and two steeples topping the aisles. The entablatures are decorated with multi layered and superimposed cornici and mouldings creating a tromp l'oeil effect. Noteworthy is the campanile, featuring Baroque balconies and topped with a spire reminiscent of Islamic art.
