Saints Gervase and Protase Collegiate Church |
|
The collegiate is one of the oldest churches of all Valtellina. Actually the aisles' portals exhibits Gothic pointed arches dating back to the churches' foundation, in the 13th century. Similarly, the campanile is in Lombard-Romanesque style. On the contrary, the rest of the facade has been restored between 16th and 19th century and shows different influences. The nave's portal is in late Renaissance style, and tympanum and volutes are early Baroque addictions.
